Shotclock is a mobile marketplace that provides a platform of luxury experiences target towards the high-net-worth demographic. Experiences are packaged across four verticals: travel (private jets, vintage cars, yachting), lodging (boutique hotels, luxury suites, penthouses), entertainment (nightclubs, music festivals, and concerts), and sports (professional and collegiate). Through combining the world’s elite brands into packaged experiences, Shotclock empowers companies to both 1) discount where they have excess inventory, and 2) mark-up for one-of-a-kind experiences. Shotclock has enlisted 10 elite partners in the Greater New York Area, and is in final preparations for the companies launch on February 24. The platform can currently be downloaded from the Apple Store.
The Management Intern will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a truly emerging company. Through joining 10 days before the launch, the intern will be brought up to speed such that he/she can pursue their passions with regard to 1) design, 2) operations, 3) business development, 4) client service, and 5) financial management. The internship is to last 11 weeks, at which point the relationship will be re-evaluated. A renewal of the contract may include 1) the same terms, 2) higher pay and a company position, and 3) equity in the company. These grants will be based on 1) Shotclock’s performance and 2) the intern’s performance. The time commitment shall be no more than 15 hours a week, and should typically be around 12. Half of the time (6 hours) would be spent at Shotclock’s headquarters in downtown Washington, while the remaining time would be spent remotely at the Management Intern’s discretion.
