Full internship description:
We are searching for a motivated, creative and driven Business Development Intern to build awareness of our company and our services in the real estate community. Opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a full-time hire. Our office is in Dupont Circle in Washington D.C. Responsibilities: Partnerships and Business Development: Cultivate and manage partner relationships with brokerages and realtor groups throughout the Washington D.C. metro area. Using both free and premium tools, build daily target lists of companies, individuals, and organizations which align with Commission Now’s mission and needs. Events and Creativity: Identify key events (meetups, etc.) in the community and attend on behalf of Commission Now. Metrics and Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyzing marketing and business development data to make thoughtful decisions around key placement drivers, areas of opportunity, etc.. Build/maintain key reports for progress and dashboards. Create and implement marketing content across programs and channels (web, digital, social, events, PR) Marketing campaign/marketing program management for new customer acquisition and retention/growth of existing customers Tracking and analyzing content and campaign effectiveness to determine when campaigns are successful or need to be changed. Core Competencies: Customer focus Drive for results Written communication Interpersonal savvy Creativity Organization Qualifications: 2-4 years in strategic partnerships, business development, or marketing Strong attention to detail and follow through You are comfortable selling over the phone, on video calls, or in person You are comfortable working in environments where you don’t have specific directions are able to take initiative and carve out a path to success for yourself You have demonstrated emotional intelligence and can tailor our message to respond to prospect’s specific circumstances You will be able to demonstrate both a consultative and aggressive selling style if need be and can tailor our value to respond to prospect’s specific pain points and challenges. Your schedule is flexible and will be willing to work weekends and evenings if need be.
