Full internship description:

As an intern with GlobalWonks, you’ll have the opportunity to work with highly experienced professionals from across the consulting, international business, government affairs, and technology industries. As an early stage startup, GlobalWonks offers you a rare opportunity to be a part of a new company with the chance to take on challenging projects and responsibilities. The Sales & Marketing intern will have a robust role in developing marketing content and running our social media presence, as well as supporting early stage business development and client relations strategy. They will report to three of our directors, covering our Marketing, Business Development and Client Relations lines of business. Responsibilities: As the Sales & Marketing intern, you will support various lines of business and team members. -Develop and manage social media campaign strategy and content across platforms to expand our social media presence and followers -Support the marketing team with content development for multiple lines of business, such as sales, client support, expert recruitment, and others -Work with our business development team to identify and research potential clients, prepare notes ahead of prospect meetings, and contribute to the company’s marketing strategies and approaches -Work with client relations team to implement and administer a new CRM system and integrate platform across the company.

Internship Requirements:

Skills: Working in a startup, you’ll be able to take on responsibilities you wouldn’t have in other positions. In addition to having strong research and writing skills and an understanding of various social media platforms, we’re looking for individuals who are proactive, can take ownership of projects (i.e. managing our social media presence), and highly motivated to address challenges head on. Interns should also be comfortable interacting with high-level executives professionally and confidently. Photo and video editing skills and previous experience working with a CRM are a plus, but not required. Qualifications: -Completed or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or other relevant focus area
