Hatch Apps is looking for an entrepreneurial undergrad to help us manage and launch creative, quality content across our social media platforms and to analyze its effectiveness. We’re looking for a storyteller-in-residence with an analytical twist— you’ll be charged with weaving the narrative of Hatch Apps through the creation of playful and provoking content, and then carefully tracking its effectiveness to identify ways to improve. The medium and style of your content will vary from quippy Facebook posts to artsy instas to professional blog posts. You’ll learn to use analytics tools to analyze message performance, track where people are coming from, identify leaks in our funnel, and understand which customers are most likely to convert. To further jazz up your role and inspire your content/analytics work, you’ll take on new projects as a member of the marketing team. Past projects have ranged from creating website copy to developing training curricula to helping with a media pitch. Through these fun, ad-hoc projects, you’ll have the opportunity to sink your teeth in different aspects of the business and learn a ton! You won’t be in it alone, reporting to our VP of Marketing and collaborating with pretty much everyone on our small, cross-functional team. You’d get to see a little bit of everything (marketing, product, tech, operations, etc) and take on more responsibility depending on interest/ability.

Here’s a breakdown of responsibilities: -Write awesome content for our blog (narrative content, interviews, snappy lists, data visualizations, whatever other creative things you come up with) -Craft a creative, ambitious editorial calendar with our marketing lead -Develop our social media strategy, and post engaging content to our social channels at least once per week -Respond to any comments or feedback from the growing Hatch community -Follow, source and share relevant content from brand-aligned influencers and news outlets -Schedule, edit and post all blog content -Analyze content performance to figure out what’s resonating and why -Track who is coming to visit our site/blog and how they’re getting there -Identify and execute on ways to delight customers with surprises, shoutouts, and the occasional lent hand
