Qualifications: ● Familiarity with General Assembly’s mission & goals ● Curious: have an idea to improve on one of our processes? Explore it and let us know! ● Detailed-oriented: we’re looking for someone who loves the details of record keeping, event planning, and follow up. There is a lot to juggle, but the meat is in the details! ● Able to accept ambiguity: we want you to grow as the role does. ● Great written and verbal communication skills: you’ll be working with various stakeholders, so communication is key! ● Highly organized:we work in various systems (Google docs, Gmail, Mailchimp, Salesforce) ● Tech and system savvy; familiar with Google Suite ● Eager to learn – you’re quick to pick up new skills and have a few to share yourself! ● Flexibility – we stay late sometimes because that’s what it takes to get the job done. ● Strategic & analytical thinking – we believe in bringing the power of data to every conversation ● Willing to work 15 hours per week from our DC campus near McPherson Square ● Compensation: $12 per hour depending on experience Bonus Points If: ● Experience with digital marketing and newsletter creation ● Experience in sales, customer service, or business development ● Familiarity with MailChimp and Salesforce ● Pursuing a degree or has a degree in Communications, Operations, Marketing, or Management ● Prior leadership and sales experience
Hiring Period: Fall, Summer
Approximate Hours per Week: Part time, 15-20
Compensation:Paid, $12/hr depends on experience
