company makes award winning baking mixes, hot cocoa mixes and delicious snackable treats. All Cissé
products feature a traceable, single-origin cocoa. They are sold at Whole Foods, Stop and Shop, Publix,
Target, Kroger, and many other retail locations. We aim to bring delight to our consumers, and do it all
with a wink and a smile.
Full internship description:
Cissé is seeking a committed, high energy individual as in store marketing manager. A great attitude and
a love of brownies are key. The ideal candidate have infectious positive energy and the ability to break
down walls. Fit is important, so a sense of humor, a passion for our ideals, and a willingness to be part of
a small team are critical. 70% of your time will be in stores building relationships and displays. 30% of
your time will be at your desk, managing in store activations across the country.
Primary responsibilities include creating magic in stores: getting end caps, building displays, doing demos and generally building enthusiasm in New York and New England Stores. Being a ninja with the tools in your tool belt: shippers, coupons, demo and literally anything else to drive same store sales. Building two-way, heart-felt relationships with in-store personnel, brokers, and distributor partners. Being able to use IRI and shipments data to complement your in store magic. Tracking store visits. Allocating and managing trade spend for major channels and accounts as efficiently as possible. Partnering with CEO and VP of Sales to align on trade spend budget as it relates to company goals. Being scrappy! Analyzing sales data and actively seeking new, cost-efficient ways to drive new sales. Building excitement and public engagement through representing the company at special events. Representing the brand and leading activities at industry trade shows such as Fancy Food Show, Natural Products Expo, and distributor trade shows.
Degree Type: Graduate
Must have 2 years working in sales or marketing for a fast-growing brand, ideally in snacks. Experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated ability to drive same store sales. Superior communications skills. Have good Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word skills.
