We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial student to join our team as a Social Enterprise Growth Marketing Coordinator. Although we are a small, lean, and early-stage social enterprise, our SaaS data collection product, SurveyCTO, has already been used by thousands of teams in roughly 150 countries. Candidates should be committed to Dobility’s mission of improving data quality for research, social, and public sector organizations. For the right person, this role will present the opportunity to learn valuable business development and project management skills on the job, while also enjoying 360-degree visibility into the operations of a social enterprise start-up. We are looking for a student with a strong record of academic and extracurricular achievement and a passion for social enterprise and/or international development. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a professional business setting with preference given to those who have business development and/or marketing experience. A good sense of humor and above-average emotional intelligence are both valuable assets for this role. Social Enterprise Growth Marketing Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting senior business development team staff with top-priority research and projects. Drafting and editing communications materials—including blog posts, prospecting emails, and social media collateral. Collecting competitive intelligence, and consolidating in reports for Dobility’s leadership. Monitoring and recording Dobility—and industry—relevant social media activity. Updating and cleaning data in Salesforce and other internal databases. Support other ad hoc projects as needed, with the possibility of taking the lead on projects when appropriate.

Ideal candidate characteristics include: Strong writer and communicator. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and be highly organized. Ready to roll up one’s sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done. A self-starter who is willing to work independently and find opportunities to innovate. Previous experience in a professional business setting. Experience with PR, social media, events/conferences, graphic design and CRM tools, such as Photoshop and Salesforce, a plus. Fast learner, able to independently problem-solve. Detail-oriented (e.g., cares that “complement” and “compliment” are different things). Obsessive about doing high-quality work. Preference for working in low-structure, fast-paced start-up environment. Passionate about improving the world through one’s work.
