Taylor Weaver, Co-President
Taylor Weaver is originally from Atlanta, GA, and graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2014 with a BA in International Studies and a double minor in Japanese and Political Science. Taylor was also a defensive back for the SMU Mustangs football team from 2009-2012, where he participated in the team’s first Division I Bowl victory in 25 years. He chose Georgetown University Law Center for a variety of reasons including its reputation for experiential learning in the private equity, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions market. Currently, Taylor is enrolled in the Law & Entrepreneurship Practicum, where he partners with attorneys from Foley Lardner to advise emerging companies. He spent this past summer at Warner, Norcross, & Judd LLP and intends to either return to the firm after graduation in the Spring or pursue an MBA.

Sutapa Adhikari, Co-President
Sutapa Adhikari is currently a 3L at Georgetown University Law Center where she is developing her understanding of entrepreneurship law. She interned at the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Trading and Markets (SEC) last semester where she learned about the regulatory framework behind investment strategies. While at the SEC, she was privy to and contributed to the launch of Regulation Crowdfunding, which was a bold step for the SEC. Sutapa also has experience working for Hill-Rom, a medical device company, where she worked with high-level executives in the Office of General Counsel. She spent this past summer at Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago and has plans to return to the world leader in banking and finance law upon graduation. Prior to Georgetown, she earned her BA in Political Science with a concentration in Economics and minor in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014.
